Bring in lawn furniture.
- Cut down
dead and rotting branches so they won't get tangled in power lines.
- Disconnect clotheslines.
- Move
vehicles off the streets.
The Canadian
Red Cross recommended that people gather a three-day supply of basic
items in case of an emergency during the storm. Those items should
include water, food, a manual can opener, a flashlight, a
battery-operated radio, batteries and a first aid kit.
